Firing via the PC sync socket which is more tolerant to higher voltages, but possibly 400-600v!!! is a whole other subject and I would reccommend against it with the CT1 without further investigation. Adobe DNG Converter 10.2 is a reliable application for converting camera RAW. The above is assuming use in the hotshoe. Download Adobe DNG Converter 10.2 for Mac free standalone latest offline setup.

The information re: the CL1 claims 6-8 volts and should be okay. I am working on a MAC computer (OSX 10.9.5) When working in Lightroom (5.7.1) and want to do some photo editing in Photoshop (CS5 12.0) I get a pop up that says I need a Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter 8.7.1. Canons official line re: trigger voltages is (or used to be) 6volts max but that was for early series DSLRs (300d/350d). C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe DNG Converter\Adobe DNG Converter.exe Please note that LRT 5 will automatically make this change, but on LRT4 you need to do it manually. The trigger voltage as I read it is around 400volts and if the serial number is below 534000 it can ve as high as 600V.
